Red Lentil Dal

A comforting lentil stew, rich in plant protein, iron, and healthy, complex carbohydrates. Incredibly simple to prepare and especially recommended for curry lovers!

This dish is also a gentler choice for those who sometimes suffer from stomach pain after eating legumes.

An easy dish to rustle up, red lentil dal is wholesome, warming, and affordable. Replace fresh cilantro (coriander) with dried, and this recipe is made entirely from staple pantry ingredients. As dried herbs bring a more intense flavor, sub the fresh cilantro with just 1 teaspoon of dried cilantro.
