For the animals: the best way to help animals is to vote with our fork. As consumers, we can choose not to use our money to fund products which involve cruelty to animals. It's a matter of supply and demand – when we reduce the demand for meat, we reduce the number of animals who have to suffer.
For our health: we all want to be healthier, and the journey towards better health starts at our plate. Animal products contain saturated fat, cholesterol, toxins and fecal bacteria.
