Ingredients
Dry ingredients
- 1½ cups flour (or 225 g)
- 1 cup sugar (or 200 g)
- 2 tbsp cocoa
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
Wet ingredients
- ¼ cup oil (or 55 g)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 cup hot water
For the chocolate chips
- ½ cup chocolate chips (or 85 g)
Instructions
- Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl – the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the wet ingredients – the oil, vanilla extract, vinegar, and hot water, and mix.
- Add the chocolate chips and mix until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to muffin tins (fill up to three-quarters of each muffin cup) and bake for about 20 minutes.
