Field Roast Celebration Roast
This one is perfect if you’re looking for something along the lines of a traditional roast. It’s hearty and satisfying, and comes with a lovely porcini mushroom gravy that is all kinds of umami. This one should satisfy even the most avid meat eaters at the table.
Tofurky Roast with Gravy
Another ‘traditional’ roast, with a decent amount of stuffing running through the middle. Personally, I prefer the taste and texture of the Field Roast Celebration Roast (and its gravy), but I wouldn’t turn this one down if it’s offered!
And as both the largest and most affordable roast here, the prize for most effective roast to dollar ratio has to go to Tofurky with this one!
Gardein Turk’y Roast
Now this one’s for the real stuffing fans! There’s almost more stuffing than roast. Not that that’s a bad thing when the stuffing is this tasty! It’s full of wild rice, cranberry, and kale, and again, comes with its own gravy to save you the bother.
This roast is a really lovely texture, but again I am kind of in love with the stuffing! This has also been the easiest one to find in stores, in my experience.
Hazelnut Cranberry Roast from Field Roast
Now this one is my favorite! If you’re looking for something a little different, that isn’t trying to be too much like meat, but is an absolutely amazing centerpiece, this is the one for you! Flaky pastry wrapped around a filling that’s full of hazelnuts, cranberries, candied ginger, and rosemary, this one is really something special.
It’s also the most expensive at around $36 at time of posting, but for a special occasion like a vegan Thanksgiving or Christmas feast, I’d say it’s worth it!
